CHIG is a top notch culinary school for the city of Accra. Conceived as an alternate university much like the Cordon Bleu in Paris, it distinguishes itself with a farm to plate teaching approach. The farm, which is the roof of the structure, has been designed as the centrepoint of this architecture.

The project, which is an adaptive transformation, begins with an unfinished unsophisticated two storey building earlier designed as low cost housing, into which high tech kitchen infrastructure is inputed. Located off a highway in the high bro East Legon region, this semi industrial building will boast of highly refined finishes on an extremely gruff existing building.
